DCA Workshops
Musicians In Action is an organization that seeks to improve the lives of young people through arts, music, and dialogue. We have initiated a number of arts programs, including Dance, Animated Arts, Visual Arts, Music Production and Artistic Crafts in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Cultural Affairs. MIA has also worked in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Juvenile Justice Department, teaching young people that it is possible to break the cycle of violence and crime that many of these teens have faced, also providing wholesome solutions to youth that reside in marginalized and under-resourced communities. MIA has become a trusted partner in the community.

MIA is open to all musicians, members of church music leadership teams, choirs, pastors, and supporters of Gospel Music. We are committed to a team model of leadership.
What does MIA provide?
- Fellowship with other musicians.
- Forums for Gospel Musicians to interact with one another on issues that impact their individual music ministry.
- Powerful workshops and clinics which provide specific and practical tips.
- An environment conducive to the development, enhancement, and strengthening of relationships musician to musician and pastor to musician.
- Assistance in understanding biblical principles for music ministry; preparation of music for worship and development of music and leadership skills.
- A sounding board for current issues.
- Recognition of musicians that have made significant contributions to the local church through dedicated service.
